Stuart Campbell BVSc, CertVA, MRCVS
Stuart graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2003 and came to the practice in Janurary 2008 after working as a Veterinary Anaesthestist at the Small Animal Veterinary Hospital of the Univeristy of Liverpool.
In 2008, he achieved the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Anaesthesia.
Stuart always has had an interest in birds and reptiles and spent one year working at Great Western Referrals in the avian and exotic department. This gave him invaluable experience in dealing with birds of prey, psittacines (parrots) and all types of reptiles from bearded dragons to tortoises and he intends to build up the case load of these species here. Stuart is happy to see 2nd opinion cases in all of the above species.
Stuart lives with his "highly trained" working cocker spaniel Dylan. When not engaged in his favourite pastime of chasing squirrels, Dylan can often be found sitting on reception desk greeting clients as they arrive!
His hobbies include conservation and Stuart has worked as a vet in a number of countries including Namibia, Cameroon, Borneo, and Uganda and has worked with gorillas, chimpanzees and leopards.
He is currently enrolled in the RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice.
